The last of these fans’ censuses was conducted in 2017, to which more than 8,000 fans from across the football pyramid gave their opinions. A lot has happened in the six years since they last polled supporters – the introduction of VAR, the COVID-19 pandemic, the spectre of the European Super League raising its head and the subsequent Fan-led Review of football governance to name but a few major impacts on our game.
Due to track renewal and other essential engineering works on the line, there will be no trains running between Colchester and Ingatestone for our next home match against Southampton.

They take a look at David Moyes’ future at West Ham, and ask are the fans behind him?
Welcome to the first annual report of WHUST. This is the first year of our conversion to a trust and much has happened in that year.
Converting to a trust has grown our influence and broadened our appeal. We have attracted experienced, professional, passionate West Ham supporters to our board. The extensive range of expertise they have brought has enabled us to increase the work we can do for the entire West Ham fan base.
The Annual General Meeting of the Trust took place on Wednesday 15th February 2023 and was held online via Zoom video-conferencing.
Thank you to those members who either joined the meeting or submitted proxy voting forms in advance of the meeting.
All resolutions were passed on the night.

Further we were clear that each football supporter comes from their own communities, so will have a view and opinion on the Police and policing they experience.

WHUST has secured a rewrite by the BBC after it published an inaccurate and exaggerated report calling West Ham fans “hooligans”. The story was circulated to local papers and “cut and pasted” by several other journalists too.

There followed a discussion of the relevant enforcement policy and the roles of the stewards and SLOs.

Read MoreHammers supporters have demanded the government implement former Conservative sports minister Tracey Crouch’s Fan-led Review of football recommendations in full and at once.
The call from the West Ham United Supporters’ Trust (WHUST) comes after speculation in The Times that new prime minster Liz Truss will kick the fan-led review’s main demand – of an independent regulator for football – into the long grass and give football clubs time to come up with a softer alternative.
